Flocks to the suet feeder along with the dozen or so tiny gray bushtits that seem to keep it company. Loves perching in the rose arbor.

One of my favorite birds. I love how they will sing back at you if you whistle the two-note call they make.

Every morning I take out a variety of seeds and peanuts for all the various birds and squirrels, to feeders around the yard. The chickadees come perch on a branch within a foot or two of the tree feeder and eagerly watch and wait for me to leave the fill, This morning I tried reaching out with seed in open palm, but he declined ..although he never budged an inch :)

These little guys are my favorite birds! So energetic, social, and always on the go. I love their songs too. I always stop to watch them.

Cutest little bird-not afraid of humans as much as other birds are. I love watching them pick one little seed then fly into the tree to peck at it. So glad its a year round visitor.

I love having these little guys in my yard. They are very brazen especially considering their diminutive size. Very entertaining feathered friends!
