'Catskill' was the first viburnum (along with 'Asian Beauty') that I planted here at the Valley in 1990, and it still graces the front of my home. It is reliably the first Viburnum dilatatum to bloom, and forms copious dark red fruit clusters due to plenty of cross-pollination opportunities from the other linden viburnums I grow. 'Catskill' has decent fall color as well, lending orangey-reds with some yellow to the autumn show.
