The ears were all full and very uniform. The only downside is this variety only yielded 1 ear per plant, so I am not sure i will grow it again when there are others just as good that yield more. However, I would recommend this for anyone to try, it is worth it.
I decided to give this variety another shot in the 2014 growing season. We had a mild summer by East Coast standards with not many days above 90 degrees. I also did not run into any issues with excess rain this time. The outcome was much different. This time, the corn was incredibly flavorful and delicious. It also froze well and we enjoyed it all the way into the holiday season. I am very glad I gave this variety another chance and will likely do so again i n the future.
