Needless to say I didn't get the full hanging basket experience I wanted to get with several colorful flowers and full bushy plants. I had to keep spraying the plants on a regular basis to combat the pests and the they still suffered.
I'm hoping to have luck with the new systemic insecticide fertilizer spikes, although I'm not sure what to do with the squirrels if they are determined to dig them out by the roots.

Mine get leggy and tall if i plant them in the shade.
I haven't tried part sun yet but why do that when they do so well in full sun.
