As the flowers age the lower ones turn to a bright yellow before falling off the stalk. Nice pale, blue-green color of leaves, too.. and user friendly. From S Africa as a naturally occuring hybrid between a tree aloe (A ferox) and a larger, suckering species (A arborescens).
