I don't find this plant to have that brown hue pictured on the Klehm's Song Sparrow site which is what made me select the plant over othe...Read Morers in the first place. There is what I consider fuchsia tones and it does fade to a brighter color. My camera may have highlighted the tones even more. I'll have to look this spring. Still a beautiful flower. Needs staking. Mine is still young so I'm not sure how robust it is.
