Now that it has been in that spot for several years, it is well established and has produced many blooms each year. I have not propagated other plants from it. I plan to leave it there, giving it a bit of compost each fall and enjoying the lovely mauve colored blooms early each spring. I think I may give it a bit of all purpose fertilizer this year just to see what she does.

Last winter, when the snow finally melted, the lenten rose was flowering. It had actually bloomed under the snow.
