It not only survives, but thrives. I have two of them. One is about 20 feet tall and 15 feet wide. The other one is much younger so about 10 feet tall. They survive -30 F. temperatures and colder. The flowers are gigantic.

Taking a few days for it to open and it's about two weeks later than my other magnolias but hope this is just the beginning. Tree itself is now 10-12 feet tall and 4' wide. Bought it as a potted tree in 2015 from Klehm's.
