This plant was originally introduced by Duncan & Davies (New Zealand) in 1986 as 'Jester'. In New Zealand and South Africa, it was granted protection under Plant Breeders Rights (PBR) under this name. This sport of 'Safari Sunset' is less vigorous than 'Safari Sunset'; however, it grows to about the same size of 4 to 5 feet tall and about the same width. Its cut branches are used in flower arrangements.

This one can take some frost down to 20 to 25 degrees.
