Yellow-green on back and face
Yellow on flanks and undertail
Gray cap
White eye line
Habitat and Behavior: Found in Mexico south to the Amazon region of South America. Seen in open forests, woodland edges, orchards, roadside trees, brushy pastures. Forages at mid to upper levels of deciduous trees. Reaches the southern tip of Texas where it is very uncommon in late spring and early summer. Also seen in southern or central California in the fall.
