My palm tree in Tempe AZ is home to a small group. Occasionally they'll feed off the native plants in my backyard, but mostly just chat with each other (very loudly).

There are more than 2,000 Rosy-Faced Lovebirds in the Phoenix area, said to have descended from a pair released or escaped in Scottsdale decades ago, and they thrived as ferals because the climate is similar to their native S. Africa. In the summer, when sunflowers are blooming, we have flocks of them visit the backyard daily. We love to hear the squawky chirps announcing their arrival.
