They pass through here annually, but do not stay the summer. Beautiful birds.

We sight these guys about 2-3 times a year. They seem very shy though and I can't seem to get them to stay.

we had a pair of these spend the summer (July & August) in the boreal forest viewed from our kitchen window - nothing quite like bringing a tropical feeling to Peace River, Alberta!

This bird is present in the summer on Samish Island WA. It is VERY shy & seldom comes To my flowing water pond but it does hang around my 100 foot pond & I occassionally see it. It is the most beautiful bird.
