Just recently discovered this bird at the sunflower feeder the other day, the first time I have ever seen them. They are so cute fluttering around out there with the nuthatches. They even eat the peanuts from the blue jay feeder. They don't like to be disturbed and fly into the tree and hollar at me when I fill the feeders.

I love these little birdies. They are so cute, they almost look like cartoon characters with their little surprised looks. Little sweethearts, and many of them let me get pretty close to them when I'm outside.

I usually hear the distinctive peeping before I see them. Then all I have to do is look for the chickadees. They usaully all flock together for foraging along with a few red/ white breasted nuthatchs'

These perky little beauties live in northwest Florida year round. They are daily visitors to my birdfeeders to enjoy black oil sunflower seeds and are usually in the company of black capped chickadees.

These little guys flit around from feeder to feeder. They do not like being interupted and loudly let you know it. They will go up into a tree and scream loudly at you-like saying go away your bothering me. Quite entertaining and have a very suprised look to their faces with big black eyes and that silly crown.
