Other Host plants for this moth's larvae are Ampelopsis, and viburnums.

One of our most common Sphinxes.

While the caterpillar eats the foliage of Virginia Creeper and grape vines, the adult only eats decaying fruit and fermented tree sap. In this area, it's not a terrible pest. Wingspan is 2" to 2 3/4" .

Found in Quebec and southern Ontario, south throughout the eastern US.

The caterpillar is leaf green with a bluish green underside, streaked with white on the sides. It sometimes is parisitized by wasp larvae.
