This is a rare stray to extreme south Texas so any rare stray is always a positive! Usually seen in the fall season. Larval host is Mexican Poinciana (Caesalpinia mexicana). This butterfly's coloring runs from pale brown to an orange-brown with white/clear like spots on the forewings. The forewings also have a very noticeable curve. Also appears to have a bit of a hunchback look.
