Apparently, corn is its favorite food, but tomatoes are its second favorite. My next-door neighbor grows corn. This year his corn crop was a failure, and he removed it about a month ago. I'm assuming this guy came from the neighbor's corn patch. On the tomatoes the damage is not only an eaten-into fairly large hole in the tomato but also leaves a large, watery area around the hole. So, if you see that eaten watery area on a tomato, this guy may be the culprit.
