The Common Woodlouse( Slater to us in Australia) is a member of the crustacean family. It chews seedlings, soft plants and young roots. It thrives in damp, dark situations.
It can be controlled by the use of Methiocarb (Baysol(r)) or by spraying Diazinoin over breeding sites.
