We enjoy these cute little "guys" in the breeding months. We've seen them at the end of March until October. I appreciate how they are not very shy around people and they have gotten rather close to us. We give them a thumbs up for eating cabbage moths and worms.

We see flocks of these cute little birds in our area from mid October until late April. They flit about in the trees and all around the feeders. Their diet consists of caterpillars, ants, beetles, grains and seeds.

They are the most abundant bird at my feeder here in MN, beating out the juncos and other sparrows. And they are pleasant enough, with their sweet little heads. They are cute to watch bouncing around munching seeds, fluffed up against the snow!
