They started to show shoots in early November and, after a couple of frosts, up came a couple of dozen (from 12 bulbs) gorgeous lilac striped with orange flowers. Everything else in the garden was long finished by then but a small bed full of these gave my garden one last 'hurrah' before winter set in. What a joy they were and lasted until now - the first week in December.
