Very ...Read Moredisease-free too, and it is covered from top to bottom, often all summer long, with deep red, fragrant roses with an attractive bud shape reminiscent of tea roses. The flowers are somewhat pendulous with thin stems, but if I cut a large enough portion the flowers easily last a week in a vase. My bush is about 10 years old, and this is the second season that a pair of cardinals has nested in it -- great wildlife cover, and in the case of cardinals, camouflage! For northern gardens, I can't recommend this rose too highly.
