It’s now probably 3 ft tall but not seeing the red yet, it’s more a brownish red for now. I hope it changes to that beautiful wax red. Does anyone knows when it’s going to get red?
I keep it in the shade and it gets some afternoon sun what seems to work just fine. It stands in water and gets watered mostly every 1-2 days depending on the heat.
I use a specific palm fertilizer what works great.
Since those 4 months it has been steady growing, meaning the bigger plants are building new leaves after another. The really small ones don’t seem to grow at all.
I am thinking to add miracle grow fertilizer what was mentioned to me where I bought it. Any inputs please reply.

Have I mistaken this palm for another similar species native to Arizona? Please advise if there are any "look-a-likes" in this area. My wife wants me to pull it up, but I would like to keep it.
