I grow it about 15 years from seeds every year. It helps to keep the ugly bugs away and its color is just striking. Its looks are not so stiff as most other Tagetes, so in plantings it looks more natural. The flowers and foliage keep looking pretty and fresh in all kinds of weather. It grows higher than 30 - 45 cm. At the end of summer it is about 100 cm in my garden. It provides also excellent cutflowers on long stems holding for more than 14 days in a vase. Oh..I nearly forgot to tell you about the scent of its flowers. You'ld expect the typical aromatic scent (which I like also) when you put your nose close. Not al all..their scent is rather sweet..more like the scent of Lily of the Valley.
