What I thought most interesting is that, in a garden where Asiatic lilies require daily inspection for lily leaf beetle, the beetles left this OT hybrid completely untouched. I have heard that OT hybrids are relatively resistant to the beetle, but I couldn't imagine that the difference could be so dramatic.

The flowers are so large they bend a bit snd some need staking, but truly elegant.
