Pelecaniformes is an order that includes 66 species. They are found worldwide in marine and freshwater habitats. Pelecaniformes are brown, white or black with a large gular patch or featherless patch of skin under the lower jaw. Pelecaniformes are the only four-toed bird with webbed feed. Males and females are monogamous during mating season and partner together to raise the chicks.
