These beauties fly Madagascar in the west, through to South, Southeast Asia, South Pacific islands (French Polynesia, Tonga, Samoa, Vanuatu) and also occur in parts of Australia, Japan and New Zealand.
They breed on Fleuria interrupta, Sida rhombifolia, Elatostemma cuneatum, Portulaca oleracea, Laportea interrupta, Triumfetta pentandra, and Asystasia species as larval hosts.
