This is our Oregon state butterfly. Was one of the first four United States Post Office stamps of butterflies back in 1976. Bigger butterfly (2.5" x 4" respectively), and when they first hatch they are bright in color and there is a lot of them! Over a dozen on our zinnia flowers at one time here in Jefferson County Oregon in 2012.
