I live in West Palm Beach with my wife and 2 cats. My business is Pest Professor pest control,I have been in the PC business for 26 years, mostly household pests and lawn & ornamental pests. I am trying to slowly turn my 1/3rd of an acre property into a tropical botanical garden.We bought the property in Aug. 2003. The very next summer,2004, brought us Hurricanes Frances and Jeane.Frances took out a 75 foot Eucalyptus tree which fell on our 50 ft. mature Southern Magnolia and sheared off most of its limbs.The Magnolia is slowly coming back but the Eucalyptus toppled from the rootball and is no more. Frances snapped off most of the mature Jacaranda's brittle limbs but it is also recovering nicely. A look at my journal will show what we have done since Hurricane Wilma pounded us in 2005.
