The false dayflower (day flower, formerly known as Tinantia anomala) plant resembles other dayflowers but it has more delicate blooms, is easily uprooted, grows in a more upright position and has lighter colored foliage. A wildflower, it's range is Texas and Mexico. Shown in April. (San Antonio, Tx.)
