I love gardening and have just moved from 1 1/2 acres to 54 acres. Of course I only get to plant on about 3 acres, the rest is for cows. I moved from zone 9a to 8b and can't believe what a difference it makes. I am building a hoophouse to overwinter the plants that I love from my old home. Last year, they went bottoms up at the first freeze. Fortunately I still had some at the old place. I love Hibiscus and lost most of them completely because I took them all with me. Daylilies are my new passion and I think I may have to go with peonies also. I love primitives, such as old tubs, watering cans broken chairs for putting pots in etc. I love decorating and can't wait to get started on my new place. It will be quite a change as I moved from a large brick home to a used mobile home 16x80. It was a sacrifice needed in order to acquire the acreage hubby wanted for his cows. I will make it homey in no time and look forward to the challenge. I am going to put old tin and barnwood in the kitchen and lots of my old collected antique kitchen stuff.
