I'm a gardener located in the Pacific Northwest and I couldn’t imagine gardening anywhere else. Gardening is a primary obsession of mine along with language study, art and writing. I have recently become a Master Gardner and love helping others to get the most from their gardens in an environmentally responsible way. Trees, roses and edibles (particularly heirloom varieties) are my obsession but I love to experiment with a large variety of plants especially things that people tell me that I can’t grow in my climate. Though my five-acre work in progress has many different areas, my favorite aesthetic is plants and trees with a tropical flair.
