My garden is really a strip of thin poor soil on top of a limestone ridge, but it grows wildflowers so well, I am leaning more to a wild garden. The drought and my health problems wiped out some of my favorites, and the weeds and fire ants moved in while I was out of commission. But I still have tall bearded iris, and quite a few Texas Hill Country Wildflowers. I hope to build a different kind of garden this year, my version of a lasagna garden. In it, I will have iris, daylilies and plenty of pink blooming plants, but I won't have many things that require lots of water and care. I will continue to collect seeds of wildflowers, so if you want those, just ask.
