'Two Tone', a named cultivar in my collection. In cool weather it blooms with pink shoulders graduating to white at the tips. This was taken in warm weather so it's pinker overall. Photo: E. England

The Lapagerie is named after the first wife of Napoleon Bonaparte, Marie-Josèphe-Rose de Tascher de La Pagerie. For completeness, it should be noted that this beautiful flower is pollinated by hummingbirds.
