Taken on 12th April 2008, Lincoln UK. A female, possibly Andrena bimaculata. The abdomen has been stylopised, it usually doesn't kill the bee but can make it infertile.

A male Stylops emerging from one of 3 holes visible. They have enlarged halteres as wings, living a few hours only to search out a resident female in another host bee.
