Taken on 13th December 2008 near my back door. This is a female, apparently needing to lose some eggs! There is only this one species in the genus Paroligolophus.

The body measured 5mm in length, this is 10x magnification.

The legs are very flexible, enabling them to wrap the ends around thin objects.

It turned upside down, you can see the eyes a little way inwards, somewhat like a Jumping Spider's eyes but only two of them.
